Who runs this site

True North Data Strategies LLC ("TNDS"), Colorado Springs, Colorado, runs this site. By using it you agree to these terms.

What this site is

This site identifies Forward Operating Base, the managed operations environment TNDS runs for its clients, and points visitors to TNDS. The front page offers nothing for sale and has no form or account of its own. It carries one client sign-in link to the portal, which is covered under Client portal below.

Acceptable use

Use the site for lawful purposes only. Do not probe it for weaknesses, interfere with it, or attempt to reach systems you have not been invited to.

Client access

Access to systems that TNDS manages is by invitation only and is governed by the written agreement between the client and TNDS. Nothing on this site creates a service commitment or an offer.

Client portal

The client portal at portal.truenorthfob.org is for people invited by a TNDS client. Use of it is governed by the written agreement between that client and TNDS. These terms cover the public pages of this site. Where the two differ about the portal, the written agreement governs.

Use your own account and keep your sign-in link to yourself. Do not share an account or a link. Do not attempt to reach a plant, a module or a record you were not given. Tell TNDS promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

What the portal shows is the client's own operating data, presented as the workbook returned it. For most roles the portal is a read-only view. It is not the system of record, and TNDS does not warrant that any page is complete or current. Where a portal page and the workbook differ, the workbook governs.

Access runs for the term of the client's agreement with TNDS and is reviewed each year at renewal. TNDS may suspend or remove an account at the client's request, or where these terms or that agreement are broken. When that agreement ends, a 30-day window applies in which the client confirms its exports, after which access and the service identities are turned off. Within 30 days after access ends, TNDS deletes the portal account and its access-list entry. Request records kept by Clerk and by Vercel expire on those providers' own retention schedules.

The no warranty and limits section below applies to the portal as well.
